A copy of the Seasonal Agricultural Worker Program (SAWP) employment contract no longer needs to be included with the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) application. Employers are still required to have a copy of the contract on file, signed by both the employer and workers (after they arrive), in the event of an inspection.
2024/2025 Employer Documents Available from F.A.R.M.S. Note – You will need your 13 character FARMS ID (e.g. ON2025-000000) and your approved 7 digit LMIA number (9000001), both of which can be found on the Email Notice from F.A.R.M.S. – LMIA XXXXXXX Has Been Approved. Your F.A.R.M.S. Administration Fee invoice number is also your F.A.R.M.S. ID. After entering your FARMS ID, LMIA number, and your email address, you will receive an email (within 1-2 minutes) which contains: 1) MS Word document – can be filled out online, printed, and edited for each worker, or can be printed and filled out manually. and/or 2) Adobe .pdf document – can only be printed and filled out manually.

1) SAWP E.A. Annex – to be filled out and signed by both the employer and worker prior to the worker’s first day of work. Mexico LMIA’s – You will receive both an English and Spanish version of the above document. CRITICAL INFORMATION – It is extremely important that the information you fill out on the E.A. Annex is EXACTLY what you stated on your approved LMIA. Please note that the wage listed on the annex will state what the wage was at the time you placed your LMIA with F.A.R.M.S. You must edit the annex you receive to the current minimum or SAWP wage, if necessary. 2) F.A.R.M.S. Employer Vacancies Summary– Use this worker name list to validate the workers currently employed, or request your named workers for the current season. Write the requested arrival date beside each worker name and upload the list with your LMIA Online Application. Do not manually enter SAWP worker names in the online portal. 3) LMIA Requested Travel Dates – This report is a summary of the workers requested on the LMIA Online application as well as the anticipated arrival and departure dates or transfer dates. This report is not a summary of arrived workers. Please choose the F.A.R.M.S. Employer Vacancies Summary to view arrived/transferred workers.

Confirmation Form for Transfer Workers EMPLOYERS SENDING AND RECEIVING TRANSFER WORKERS MUST FILL OUT AND SIGN THE NEW TRANSFER CONFIRMATION FORM BELOW AFTER LMIA TRANSFER APPLICATION IS APPROVED BY SERVICE CANADA. IT IS MANDATORY FOR EACH EMPLOYER TO RETAIN A COPY OF THIS FORM SIGNED BY BOTH EMPLOYERS. THE EMPLOYER RECEIVING TRANSFERS MUST ALSO SEND THE SIGNED COPY TO F.A.R.M.S. AND THE LIAISON OFFICE. SENDING EMPLOYERS SHOULD VERIFY THE TRANSFER LMIA NUMBER ON THE CONFIRMATION FORM BY CALLING F.A.R.M.S.
